Control your WiFi dash cam from your smartphone or tablet
The BlackVue app can connect to your BlackVue dashcam via Wi-Fi. You can easily access stored videos, settings, and more via the app. For example, you can watch important images on the spot, save them externally and/or share them via your smartphone or tablet.
Of course, the app also supports BlackVue’s Cloud options. Thanks to the Cloud function, you can track your car anywhere in the world. Receive push notifications, watch live, automatically save videos to the cloud, track the GPS, etc.

The BlackVue app supports all BlackVue dash cams with WiFi compatibility. When the app is open, you get access to four options: BlackVue WiFi, internal memory, BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery and BlackVue Cloud.
BlackVue WiFi
Connect your smartphone to the WiFi connection of the dashcam. Once the dash cam and smartphone are connected, you get access to all videos stored on the microSD card via the app. In addition, you can watch live with Live View to determine, for example, the camera angle/placement.
You can also update firmware via the WiFi connection, after the firmware has been downloaded to your smartphone. When you are connected to the dash cam, you must first connect the smartphone to a normal WiFi connection, with which you can download the software. To apply the software update, go to the main menu (top left) of the BlackVue app.
Internal memory
After you have downloaded videos from your dash cam to your smartphone, they will appear in this menu. From here you can divide the files into folders, save them in your smartphone’s video album, and share them via email, WhatsApp, etc.
BlackVue Power Magic Ultra Battery
While charging, the app displays the charge percentage, the charging voltage and the expected time remaining until it is fully charged.
When the ignition is off, the app informs you of the time remaining until the battery is empty. The B124 generates this data based on the average power consumption of the dashcam.
BlackVue Cloud
BlackVue Over the Cloud is a free BlackVue service that allows you to access your BlackVue anywhere and anytime via the BlackVue app (or the BlackVue Viewer).
Creating a BlackVue Over the Cloud account is easy and free. Once your account is created, you can use the app to register and set up your Cloud-compatible BlackVue dash cam. It is a requirement that there is a WiFi hotspot in the vehicle. After setting up and connecting to the hotspot, you can enjoy the following functions:
- Live remote viewing – Monitor your car remotely;
- 2-way voice communication – Talk to people in the car from your smartphone;
